On September 29, 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a major draft.

في 29 سبتمبر 2025، أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين عن تجنيد كبير.

He ordered 135,000 men aged 18 to 30 to join the military.

This is the largest fall draft in Russia in nine years.

The draft will run from October 1 to December 31.

The Russian government says these new soldiers will not be sent to fight in Ukraine.
